Srinagar, June 12: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chaudhary, Todi, assessing the functioning of the organization, paid a surprising journey for the Labor Commissioner’s Office in Srinagar.
The DI CM reviewed the progress on various initiatives and schemes being implemented by the Labor Department to promote social security and welfare of employees/workers. He also reviewed the issues being faced by the employees in doing his duties efficiently.
During the journey, the dye CM held a detailed discussion with the officials with the aim of streamlining the functioning of the department. He was informed about the activities, achievements and challenges going on in front of the department.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring effective implementation of labor laws and rules to protect the rights of workers. He insisted on maintaining cleanliness, ensured quick settlement of public grievances and implemented time ban in government offices.
He also interacted with the public, who was waiting at the Labor Commission headquarters to resolve his complaints at the Regional Office EPFO, Goi.
Dye CM heard his concerns and assured him of early resolution. He also said that the authorities asked to ensure that official files are processed without any delay. He emphasized the need for efficient and civil-centered service distribution, instructed the authorities to accelerate the grievance redressal process and maintain transparency in their functioning.
Chaudhary said “it is necessary that citizens do not need to wait unnecessarily and the services are strictly provided to the time limit”.
He said that the benefits of all government schemes should reach the last person in real time. He directed to organize awareness programs to educate the general public about the government’s schemes.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the achievements of the government led by Omar Abdullah, which outlines the commitment to public welfare. He assured the public that the government is making tireless efforts to meet its expectations and fulfill all the promises.
