Teen charged after man was stabbed on train in south London

A 19-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed on a train in south London.

An incident took place between Beckenham Junction and Shortland train stations on Wednesday.

Rakeem Thomas will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court at 10am on April 30.

He has been remanded in custody.

The 19-year-old was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon.
