Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha attends Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha has attended the grand inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The actor-politician, who attended the Pran Pratistha ceremony on January 22, has “no words” to explain the celebratory moment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following several holy rituals before the inauguration day. The temple complex will open its gates to the public on January 27. Notable dignitaries and members of the film fraternity were invited to mark their presence at the inauguration ceremony. One of them was Shailesh Lodha.

Shailesh Lodha shared a picture of himself in the background of Ram temple on Instagram and wrote, “I have no words…for the thought of this glory. Jai Shri Ram (I have no words to describe this moment. Jai Shri Ram).” The actor wore a traditional outfit for the event which included a white kurta. A black printed shawl was wrapped around his neck. He was also wearing black sunglasses and was all smiles during the click. In the background, Ram temple was seen decorated with vibrant flowers. The invitees were seen sitting on chairs outside the temple premises.

Earlier, Shailesh Lodha had posted another picture on Instagram with actor Arun Govil and actress Deepika Chikhlia. Both of them starred in the highly acclaimed 1987 television soap opera Ramayan, directed by Ramanand Sagar. While Arun Govil played the role of Ram, Deepika Chikhalia played his on-screen wife Sita. He was among the high-profile guests at the consecration ceremony. Shailesh Lodha shared the same frame with the Ramayan stars and wrote, “Ram Siya Ram… Siya-Ram Jai Jai Ram.” Arun Govil was dressed in a red-printed ethnic coat, while Deepika Chikhlia was dressed in a rustic-bronze colored saree and accessorized with golden jewellery. Shailesh Lodha wore a white sweater, which he teamed with black trousers and a saffron dupatta.

Apart from Shailesh Lodha, other honored guests at the Ram temple include former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Presidents Ram Nath Kovind and Pratibha Patil and ISRO Chairman S Somnath. Indian cricket icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli were also invited. From the entertainment industry, Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif and Kangana Ranaut also made it to the guest list.
