Suhani Bhatnagar’s parents reveal Dangal Star diagnosed with dermatomyositis: ‘Her oxygen levels were low’

She was then diagnosed with dermatomyositis and prescribed steroid medication because it was the only way to treat the disease. However, the drug had side effects on her immune system, causing infections, weakening her lungs and causing fluid to build up in vital organs. As a result, she had difficulty breathing and died on Friday. Her cremation took place on February 17.

“Even after she was put on a ventilator, her oxygen levels were still low and at 7 pm last night, the AIIMS doctors said ‘she is gone,'” he said.

Suhani Bhatnagar’s mother added that Suhani is doing well in college and she plans to return to showbiz after graduation. She said: “She did really well in college and even came out on top last semester. She excels in everything and wants to excel at what she wants to do. Our daughter makes us very proud.”
