After elephant attack death, Rahul heads to Wayanad, UP Yatra to resume on Sunday

The party said Rahul Gandhi will travel to Wayanad from Varanasi as he is urgently needed in his Lok Sabha constituency and will resume his bala from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday afternoon Te Chodo Nyay Yatra.

Gandhi’s visit to Wayanad comes a day after a man, who was seriously injured in another wild elephant attack on Friday morning, died during the day at the Kozhikode Medical College.

Forest department officials said the victim was an eco-tourism guide working with the forest department and was stationed at the popular tourist resort Kuruva Island.
