The Royal Mint has launched new Star Wars coins, with the latest series including the Millennium Falcon and Death Star.

It follows the initial success of the first project Star Wars Coin series, with new ones dedicated to franchise vehicles.

The first coins feature some of Star Wars’ most famous characters, including Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

The Millennium Falcon, TIE Fighter, X-Wing and Death Star II will all be featured on new coins launching this week.

In addition to the newly minted coins, there will also be the latest series of gold bars.

Rebecca Morgan, Director of Commemorative Coins at The Royal Mint, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the return of the Star Wars numismatic series with a series of coins commemorating iconic Star Wars vehicles.

The Millennium Falcon coin will be released on Monday, March 18, along with three other coins.

Meanwhile, the Royal Mint gold bars will be available in gold and silver bars and feature images of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo.
