Sonia Gandhi elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan

Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan after losing from Lok Sabha. In a surprise move, the 77-year-old had filed his nomination from Jaipur, the seat of former prime minister Manmohan Singh, earlier this month.
