Snowfall and rain continued to lash parts of Uttarakhand on Thursday night, adding to the cold, according to the Meteorological Department. The MeT said the temperature is likely to plummet by 4-5 degrees Celsius due to continued snowfall and rain.

Snowfall continued in the upper reaches of Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Teri and Dehradun districts on Thursday, while intermittent showers occurred in the lower reaches.
