The unlikely trio of Robert De Niro, Snoop Dogg and Austin Butler met for dinner at the rapper’s Malibu, Calif., home on Friday.

Snoop’s 27-year-old son Champ Medici (real name Cordell Broadus) took to Instagram to share the party as the three stars hung out.

“Champion De Niro Elvis Snoopy,” Medici wrote in the caption, along with a check emoji and an eagle emoji. “Dinner @ Malibu House Talking Numbers.”

De Niro, 80, Snoop, 52, and Butler, 32, were all smiling as they sat side by side on the couch, and De Niro and Snoop were next seen hugging.

Wearing khaki pants and a black shirt, De Niro held a puppy on his lap and made a peace sign. Butler was smiling and wearing a navy shirt, white tank top and navy jeans.

The rapper wore an NBC 2024 Olympics tracksuit to represent his upcoming role as NBC’s Olympic correspondent for the Paris Games this summer.

In a video clip from the carousel, Snoop posed with De Niro, with the rapper joking: “You don’t know I have Italian in my blood, do you?” De Niro had no idea He waved his hand hesitantly and replied, “I knew it.”

It remains to be seen whether this dinner is the start of a possible new project or just a casual get-together.
