Sky News has been nominated for a BAFTA Television Award for its iconic eyewitness reporting.
Over the past year, our reporters have been covering the biggest news moments around the world.
It can now be announced that Sky News has been nominated twice for the BAFTA Awards in the News Coverage category.
Two independent Sky News stories have been shortlisted for the prestigious award.
they are:
• Exclusive reporting from chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay and his team Living with insurgents in Myanmar jungle for a monthAt the same time, a brutal guerrilla war was being waged across the country.
• Live Sky News specials Jerusalem October 21 brought the latest news on urgently needed aid Gaza Finally allowed to pass through the Rafah crossing.
The Baftas return on May 12, hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
