Shreyas Talpade’s wife reveals how Akshay Kumar ‘kept calling her’ after actor suffered heart attack

Shreyas Talpade, known for some of the famous comedy roles in Bollywood, suffered a serious heart attack in 2023. The actor underwent angioplasty and has been recovering ever since. Recently, his wife Deepti Talpade shared how people from the Marathi and Hindi film industry are supporting her during this difficult time. She especially thanked Akshay Kumar for his enthusiastic help during the crisis.

Talking to ABP’s Majha Katta, Deepti Talpade said, “After the news broke, Shreyas director Ahmed Khan and his wife came to the hospital at 11 pm. They were with me. AK Akshay Kumar, you know he kept calling me and asking, ‘Dipti should we change him? You told me we will shift him to another hospital.’ In the morning he gave I called and said, “Let me see him for two minutes. I just want to see him.” Deepti graciously welcomed his concern and assured him that he could visit anytime.She added that the incident shows the mutual support of the Hindi and Marathi film industries in difficult times

In another interview to ETimes, Shreyas Talpade said that Ahmed Khan, Akshay Kumar and others have been visiting his home. Recently, Shreyas Talpade in an interview with Instant Bollywood revealed that he has returned to work but is also taking care of his health.

In December last year, after undergoing treatment in the hospital, Deepti Talpade took to her Instagram account to share the news that the actor had been discharged from the hospital and returned home. Expressing her gratitude, she wrote: “My life, Shreyas, has come home…safe and sound. I would argue with Shreyas that I don’t know where to put my faith. Today I Knowing the answer to my question, God Almighty. He was with me that night when this momentous event in our lives happened. I don’t think I will ever question His existence again.”
