Faridabad:
Late Friday night, the body of a newborn boy was found stuck on the grill in the quiet village of Ajraunda in Haryana. According to police, a man threw the newborn baby over a wall before it became slanted over the spiked fence.
This morning local residents saw the body, leaving them in shock and disbelief. The body of the newborn was carefully taken out of the jungle and later taken to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital in Faridabad for post-mortem.
According to the police, the post-mortem will reveal whether the child was deliberately killed before being thrown or the death was caused by being pierced by the grill.
Police are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity in the hope of identifying and locating the persons responsible for the crime.
“The parents are to blame,” alleged shocked residents of Ajrunda, with some even suggesting the death penalty for those responsible for the child’s horrific death.
Police said that further investigation in the matter is going on.
