“Save the bowlers”: R Ashwin sends SOS on behalf of everyone as PBKS chases record 262 against KKR

And it was achieved by an Indian Premier League team – Punjab Kings. Chasing a total of 262 runs, hardly anyone would have given PBKS a chance, but then their batsman had something else in mind. Jonny Bairstow (108*), Prabhsimran Singh (54), Shashank Singh (68*) made equal contributions as PBKS achieved the world record.

Former Punjab Kings captain and great spin bowler R Ashwin praised the bowlers in the middle of the match. “Save the bowlers please no SOS SOS SOS #KKRvsPBKS #IPL2024,” he posted on Twitter.
