The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is expected to be available soon. Samsung has yet to confirm the phone, but it has surfaced online multiple times over the past few weeks. Now, a source has hinted that the model will be launched in India and shared a live image of the phone. The image shows the color options and rear panel design of the phone. It has also been spotted on multiple certification websites before, hinting at some key specifications that the alleged model may come with.

Tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) shared a live image of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G postal X (formerly Twitter) claimed that the phone is expected to launch in India soon. He added that the phone will be available in blue and black color options and will feature a triple rear camera system. More details may emerge closer to the phone’s launch.

In the image shared by the tipster, we see that the alleged Samsung Galaxy M55 5G has a black and blue rear panel. The triple rear camera unit is housed in three separate circular, slightly raised slots arranged vertically in the upper left corner. The LED flash unit is located between the first two cutouts, slightly to the right. The volume rockers and power button appear on the right edge of the phone.

The report also said that the phone was found on the Nemko certification website with the model number SM-M556E/DS, where “DS” may indicate dual SIM card support.

Previously, Samsung Galaxy M55 5G also appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-M556B. The listing shows that the phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno (TM) 644 GPU and 8GB RAM. It may also come with Android 14-based One UI.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is expected to succeed the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G, which was launched in March 2023. The previous phone is powered by Exynos 1380 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. In terms of optics, the phone comes with a 108-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter at the back and a 32-megapixel sensor at the front . The phone is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging.
