The only unbeaten team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Rajasthan Royals got off to a good start in the new season with the all-round performance of its players. As the Royals prepare for Wednesday’s match against the Gujarat Titans, former Australia spinner Brad Hogg can’t help but praise Riyan Parag for the maturity he has shown this season.

In a podcast on YouTube, Hogg highlighted how Parager has learned to harness his energy and focus more on the team’s goals this year rather than his own.

The cockiness is still there, but it’s under control.” He believes Hogg told New Delhi on the podcast TV, he is now more worried about what he can do for the team than trying to lock down his place in the team.

Parag made his debut with Rajasthan Royals in 2019 but this year seems to have finally repaid the faith reposed in him by the team. In 4 games this season, Parag has scored 185 points with an average of 92.50 and a shooting percentage of 158.12.
