Realme hopes to be No. 1 in Rs 15-25,000 segment with launch of P series in 2024

New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) Smartphone maker Realme India aims to gain top market share $A senior company official said that with the launch of new P series devices, the mobile phone market will reach 15,000-25,000 units this year.

Sharing its P-series plans, Realme India business strategy head Tarini Prasad Das told reporters that the company aims to reach a cumulative 50 million units by 2024 in partnership with Flipkart Smartphone sales.

“Our goal is to lead $With the launch of the P series, the total smartphone market this year will reach 15,000-25,000 units. The P-series itself is expected to lead the segment. “Das said.

Realme is one of the top five smartphone brands in terms of sales market share. By 2023, the company’s market share will be 12%.

The company plans to launch the P series in Asian markets in the second week of April $20,000 price range.

Das said offline and online sales contribute equally to Realme’s overall business and the company is looking to solidify its leadership in the segment. $The P series has 15,000-25,000 segments.

Das did not reveal the specifications of the P-series smartphones but said it will feature performance, design, better display and charging facilities in the target market.

Das said, “We have an exclusive collaboration with Flipkart for the P series. We aim to achieve Flipkart’s 50 million sales milestone with the launch of the new P series this year.”
