Realme 12 Pro series launched in India with periscope lens, 120Hz display: Price, specs

The Realme 12 Pro series has been launched in India this week, while a new competitor in the market, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, also has two models to choose from. Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro Plus appeal to mid-range buyers with their premium design, periscope lens, and fast-charging batteries. Realme’s new Pro series also features a circular camera module on the back, which further adds to the appeal.

Realme 12 Pro series price in India

The Realme 12 Pro series has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs 25,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 26,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. As for the Realme 12 Pro Plus, the price starts at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 256GB model starts at Rs 33,999. The two models of Realme 12 Pro will be launched in China from February 6.

Realme 12 Pro series features

Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro Plus feature the same 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz curved display. The 12 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the 12 Pro Plus uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset. The good thing about this phone is that Realme gives you the Realme UI 5.0 version based on Android 14, which Xiaomi can’t match with the Redmi Note 13 Pro right now. The rear panel features a faux leather feel that is also a highlight of the range.

The imaging aspect of the 12 Pro is handled by a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The 12 Pro Plus features a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The 12 Pro and 12 Pro Plus feature 16MP and 32MP shooters on the front respectively. Both phones are also equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 67W wired charging speed.
