Rajnath Singh today used the viral meme ‘Moye Moye’ to mock the Indian group.

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh:

In a dig at the Indian bloc, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the alliance cannot face either the Indian Democratic Alliance or the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Lok Sabha elections because “desh ki janta moye moye kar degi” (The people will give the opposition a crushing electoral defeat).

Mr. Singh, who was campaigning for the seven-phase general election in Ghaziabad, said it would be difficult for the opposition group to weigh in and face the NDA in the Lok Sabha elections.

“Several opposition parties have joined forces to fight against the PPP. However, you all can see that this is a convenient alliance of some opposition leaders who are only seeking personal gain. However, they cannot even face the NDA, even if they are united. People in this country will die too. (The people will give the opposition a crushing defeat in the elections),” the minister said.

The viral trend of “moye moye” originated from a Serbian song that gained huge traction on TikTok and subsequently spread to various social media platforms. The hit song “Moye More” was officially released under the name “Dzanum” and was composed by Serbian singer and composer Teya Dora. The song’s lyrics suggest pain, despair, and nightmares. However, in India, netizens took the song to other social media platforms along with their hilarious Instagram videos and memes.
