Rachel McAdams recently made her Broadway debut with her new play, mary jane On April 21 in New York City.
“I’m very honored to be here,” the 45-year-old said in an exclusive interview. People,
a notebook “Broadway was something I always wanted to do, but it was really intimidating,” Starr said.
Rachel commented, “So, standing on that stage feels like the fulfillment of a longtime dream.”
The Oscar-nominated actress became emotional after being presented with a bouquet of flowers to celebrate her debut on the Broadway stage.
“I’m less nervous now, but they’re still there; I still get nervous every night,” he revealed mean Girls Actress.
Rachel added, “And that’s okay!”
“We know that a certain amount of nerves are good and get you going and make the performance more lively, so you want to keep some of those. I’m embracing the nerves! The About Time actress explained.
Reflecting on the Broadway appearance, Rachel told the outlet, “It’s brand new, right? It’s like starting a new job: You’re always nervous the first day, no matter what it is, and then you get into it.”
He commented, “I feel like I’m back on my feet.”
Talking about what she loves about Broadway, Rachel explained, “I love the spontaneous relationships that unfold every night.”
“It’s different every night. You never know what’s going to happen. You can’t control anything. That’s all you can do. And you have to be quick on your feet, you have to really just get into it. I think it requires you to be really present,” said the actress.
