Hezbollah has stepped up its attacks on Israeli military bases in recent days.

Hezbollah last night launched a barrage of Katyusha rockets at an Israeli army headquarters in northern Israel amid tensions between Israel and Iran. Hezbollah is an armed group based in Lebanon that is financially and militarily funded by Iran.

A Hezbollah statement confirmed the rocket attack on the headquarters of the 91st Division’s 3rd Infantry Brigade at the Ein Zeitim base, claiming to have launched “dozens” of Katyusha rockets.
The attack was reportedly carried out in response to Israeli incursions into villages in southern Lebanon, including recent attacks on Sharifa, Odiseh and Rab Talatin, reported by Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA). are
The Israeli military, in its response, identified about 35 rocket launches from Lebanon into the Ein Zeitim area but caused no casualties. Israeli forces retaliated by targeting the sources of the rocket fire.
Since hostilities began, casualties have been taking place on both sides. In Lebanon, at least 376 people, mainly Hezbollah fighters, have been killed, along with 70 civilians, according to figures from news agency AFP. On the Israeli side, 10 soldiers and eight civilians have been killed.
Tensions between Israel and Iran are at an all-time high, with Tehran issuing a stern warning in response to recent provocations. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani warned that any further “mistakes” by Israel would prompt a “tougher and more decisive” response from Iran.
Addressing recent events near the Iranian city of Isfahan, where explosions believed to be an Israeli attack were heard, Kanani condemned the attack, calling it “unconscionable and dangerous” and said Iran’s air defenses successfully thwarted the attack, which included “a small flying object and a micro air vehicle”.
On Sunday, rockets originating from northern Iraq were launched at a military installation in Syria, which has a coalition led by the United States. The coalition fighting jihadist groups said one of its planes in Iraq fired a launcher in self-defense after receiving reports of a failed rocket attack near a base in northeastern Syria. He said that no American personnel were injured during the incident.

At Columbia, a large gathering of protesters set up a “Gaza Solidarity Camp” on the campus lawn. Some Jewish students at the famous New York institution reported feeling intimidated and encountering anti-Semitic sentiments during the protests.
