Queen Mary has stunned as she shared a stunning new photo of herself with her husband King Frederick.

The Danish royal palace delighted fans by releasing the first official portrait of the King and Queen Mary since Frederick’s accession to the throne.

Frederick, 55, ascended the throne on January 14 following the abdication of his mother, 84-year-old Queen Margrethe.

Mary is wearing the Danish Emerald Paurier Tiara for the first time since it is reserved for the Queen.

According to reports, the tiara was first commissioned by King Christian VII of England in 1840 for his wife Caroline Matilda, and the headpiece’s jewels are believed to have been in the family since 1723.

Rani looked very beautiful wearing a shining tiara with matching necklace and earrings.

The set also included a brooch but Mary decided to wear a pin bearing Frederick’s portrait made especially for her.

She also wore a dark green velvet and lace gown designed by Copenhagen designer Birgitte Hallstein.

Frederick, on the other hand, appeared in his military uniform with several medals.

Fans couldn’t wait and rushed to praise the Australian-born queen, with some praising her as “powerful” and “stunningly regal.”

“Queen Mary of Denmark and Australia!” One wrote.

Another fan commented: “Mary is so beautiful; she’s done her native Australia proud.”
