The new advert has been released as part of the #TakeBoldCareOfHer campaign. Ranveer, who is the brand ambassador of Bold Care, plays Johnny’s brother-in-law in an Indian TV drama style and talks about sex. Talking about the matter in a statement to the media, Ranveer said: “I sincerely want to use my influence to create awareness and make a positive impact. The ‘Dare to Care’ campaign is more than just words “This is a mission that I’m deeply involved in, and I’m here to change the way we address men’s sexual health, with the goal of finding real solutions and impacting millions of lives across the country.”
While the ad got everyone talking, Rashami Desai was disturbed by the depiction of the TV show in the ad. She said on Instagram Stories that the ad felt like a slap in the face and that mocking the TV industry was a no-no.
