Despite her immense responsibility to the monarchy, Princess Anne is still struggling to move on amid King Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnoses.

According to reports, the eldest princess will have 55 of 78 responsibilities in April and May this year, and she is trying to stay calm and move on.

Royal commentator Gertrude Daly told UK news Anne “always performed her royal duties quietly, without much pomp and circumstance.”

“The Princess Royal is a workhorse. She will be 74 in August, an age when most people retire,” she said of the royal. “She had an innate sense of responsibility to the royal family, to her monarch.

Daly continued, “Anne is doing what she has been doing since she was 18. She has her charities, her patronage, she takes on things on behalf of the monarch. She is an integral part of the royal family.”

Previously, health experts Smoke-free campaign Concerns were expressed about the health of the Princess, who will be left to do “heavy lifting” in the absence of the King, Kate and Prince William.

They said: “While Her Royal Highness is known as one of the hardest working members of the Royal Family, we have deep concerns about her health and fear that Princess Anne may be on the verge of burnout.”
