Prince William prepares to return to public duties after Easter break

Prince William, the next in line to the throne, will return to royal duties as Kate Middleton undergoes cancer treatment.

William was last seen in late March attending an event aimed at tackling homelessness. Three days later, as the media frenzy over Kate’s health intensified, Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis.

Before Easter, William took on some duties on behalf of his father, King Charles, who announced his cancer diagnosis a month before Kate. However, after Kate’s video was released, the Welsh family stayed out of the public eye to process the news as a family.

In her video message, Kate described William as a “great source of comfort and reassurance” and told the public that “as a family we now need some time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment.

While Prince William plans to return, there is no date yet for when Kate will return to public duties.

Meanwhile, Charles is taking part in some major events, notably some major international trips, such as a trip to Somoa planned for October.
