Prince Harry’s plans for the UK are facing an unexpected hurdle following the latest High Court ruling over his safety.

A judge in one of the country’s courts has dismissed the duke’s latest attempt to challenge the Home Office’s decision to bar him and his family from accessing publicly funded security.

Harry initially lost a court case against the council in the High Court in February.

In the latest ruling, published on Monday, the High Court rejected his appeal against the ruling and sided with the Home Office.

The Crown’s legal team will now seek permission directly from the Court of Appeal to challenge the decision.
