Soon after the Election Commission of India announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we, the Bharatiya Janata Party-NDA, are fully prepared. The election will be held in seven phases, starting on April 19 and ending on June 1. Results will be announced on June 4.
“The biggest democratic festival is here! The EC (Election Commission) has announced the dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. We, the BJP-NDA, are fully prepared for the elections. We will go to the people based on our past record.” Good governance and trans Department’s service provision,” he said in X.

Slamming the opposition, the Prime Minister claimed that when the NDA government took office a decade ago, “the people of India feel betrayed and disillusioned due to the deplorable governance of the CBI. No sector is immune to scams and policy paralysis. The world has given India .It’s been a glorious transition from that point on.”
“Our opposition is leaderless and has no problems. All they can do is abuse us and practice vote bank politics. Their dynastic ways and attempts to divide society are not accepted. What also hurts them is their record of corruption. People don’t want Want leadership like this,” he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party is widely expected to win 543 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, exceeding the 272 seats needed for a simple majority. The Prime Minister predicts that the People’s Party will win 370 seats and his National Democratic Alliance will win more than 400 seats, aiming for a four-year high.
“The people of India are witnessing what a determined, focused and results-oriented government can do. And, they want more. That’s why people from every corner of India, from every section of society, are saying: Voice – Ab Ki Baar , 400 Paar,” he posted.
Confident of his election victory, Prime Minister Modi asserted: “There is a lot to do in our third term. The last ten years have been about filling the void created by those who ruled for seven decades. It is also about inculcating a spirit of self.” -Believe that India can become prosperous and self-reliant. We will carry forward this spirit.”
“I can clearly see that the next five years will be about our collective determination to chart a roadmap that will guide our trajectory as a country for the next thousand years and make India a prosperous, all-round growth and global leader Embodiment.” he added.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that more than 960 million voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in the Lok Sabha elections, of which 497.2 million are male voters and 471 million are female voters. There are 1.82 billion first-time voters.
The 2019 Lok Sabha polls will be held in seven phases.
