PM releases campaign song 'Mai Modi Ka Parivar Hun' ahead of Lok Sabha polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday released a campaign song titled “Mai Modi ka parivar hun”, showcasing his commitment to all.

In a post on X, PM Modi shared the video and wrote: “Mera Bharat, Mera Parivaar (My India, My Family).”

The campaign song “Main Modi Ka Parivar hu” describes how things got better in India after Narendra Modi became prime minister.

The video, which lasts for 3 minutes and 13 seconds, depicts the Prime Minister with beneficiaries of government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Har Ghar Nal Scheme and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana among others.

The campaign song was released hours before the Election Commission announced the date for the Lok Sabha elections.

The voting date will be announced at a press conference on Saturday at 3 p.m.

An ECI spokesperson said in a post on Media platform for live broadcast of ECI on the media”.

At the beginning of 2019, the Lok Sabha elections were held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19, with the results announced on May 23.

On March 4, BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president Nadda, added “Modika Parivar” to their accounts on social media platform slogan.

Earlier, in 2019, as the Prime Minister raised the slogan “Chowkidar”, the BJP leaders and the public at large added “Main Bhi Chowkidar” after their names.

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Party (NDA) won a total of 303 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, leaving behind the veteran party’s 52 seats.
