Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the weekly Cabinet meeting held at his Lok Kalyan Marg residence in New Delhi, has directed his colleagues to participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22 in their personal capacity as the event is a “huge victory”. ” Is. Top sources told News18 that it is a symbol of the faith and trust of millions of Indians.

It is understood that PM Modi has asked his colleagues to light lamps at their homes and distribute food to the poor on this occasion.

One of the most ambitious plans of the BJP before the 2024 elections is to organize darshan for crores of people after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram temple. PM Modi is said to have advised his Cabinet that he needs to “personally monitor” the preparations for people being sent to Ayodhya by trains from various places. A source told News18 that the PM has advised the cabinet members that they should also travel by train with the devotees for darshan.

Before opening the Ram temple to the public, BJP has started preparations at the grassroots level. Several top party leaders, including three general secretaries – Sunil Bansal, Vinod Tawde and Tarun Chugh, have been camping in the holy city of Ayodhya for the last 7 to 10 days in preparation to welcome devotees from across the country.

In the last cabinet meeting a few weeks ago, the Prime Minister had issued similar instructions to his colleagues.

“Although every minister is expected to be present in his or her constituency, they need to take adequate precautions to ensure that any controversy or controversial remarks are avoided. No one should be agitated by the comments of the opposition and should not fall prey to such tricks.

The Prime Minister’s message comes after several opposition leaders expressed fear of communal clashes breaking out ahead of the grand ceremony.

Chief Minister will go to Ayodhya after Republic Day

Sources say that the BJP leadership has asked its Chief Ministers to visit the Ram Temple along with their Council of Ministers soon after the Republic Day. It has also asked him to inform the Uttar Pradesh government and Ayodhya administration about his plans in advance to ensure that the CMs of the two states do not visit the temple on the same day.

BJP sources have indicated that chief ministers and their ministers have been “advised” to “mingle” with devotees, especially from their states, while in Ayodhya.

With its victories in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan last December, the BJP now rules 12 states in India while it is in alliance with four.

Sources say that soon after January 22, there will be a huge crowd of devotees in Ayodhya. Also, all the state units will be busy organizing the nationwide NaMo Nav Voter Conference on January 25, when PM Modi will address 50 lakh voters for the first time.

PM’s ritual

Announcing his ‘anushthan’ (rituals) for 11 days before Pran Pratistha, PM Modi is following the footsteps of Lord Ram by visiting various temples across the country from Panchavati in Nashik to the Ram temple in Kerala.

Sources close to the PM said he has decided to follow the rituals that anyone would follow for a grand celebration of Ram temple. The PM has not only chosen to sleep on the floor over a blanket, but is also consuming only coconut water throughout the day.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 which will witness the much-awaited return of Lord Ram to his ‘birthplace’ after decades of public agitation and legal entanglement.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and other political leaders will be present in this program.

Invitations have been sent to around 8,000 VVIPs, which include celebrities like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Kangana Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
