‘PM Modi is a rock star, Rahul Gandhi is endangering the country’: Kiren Rijiju on News18 Choupal

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for endangering the country. Speaking at the inaugural event of News18 Chaupal, the Earth Sciences Minister criticized the former Congress president for provoking people during the pilgrimage.

News 18 Chaupal is a special program where politicians and influential people from different fields share their views and perspectives on various issues of national importance.

Minister Rijiju praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in taking the country forward and called him a “rock star”.

The Earth Sciences Minister highlighted the changing perception of India among global leaders and attributed the change to Prime Minister Modi. Rijiju praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, calling him a “rock star” in propelling the country to become a developed country by 2047.

“The way the world looks at India today has changed, and all this has happened because of Prime Minister Modi. We are the fastest growing economy today. India will become a developed country in 2047. Prime Minister Modi is leading the country forward. He is a rock star,” the federal minister said.

He also criticized Rahul Gandhi, saying he was harmful to the country and lacked seriousness as a leader. He criticized India’s opposition alliance, saying: “If they do or say anything against the country, we will definitely respond.”

Kiren Rijiju accused Rahul Gandhi of traveling with the sole purpose of hurting the country through provocative behavior. He said that speaking against the country, spreading chaos or making false statements about China and security abroad are considered crimes. Questioning Rahul Gandhi’s commitment as an MP, Kiren Rijiju said: “He is touring across the country when the budget session is going on.”

Kiren Rijiju also took a jibe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The federal minister criticized Kejriwal, saying he had never seen a more corrupt person and questioned how anyone could tolerate him. Rijiju accused Kejriwal of spreading lies when facing the media.
