Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended the politics of casteism, corruption, appeasement and dynasty politics prevalent in the country in the last ten years since independence and has introduced “politics of demonstration”.
He was speaking at a program in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.
He said, “After independence, politics of caste, corruption, appeasement and dynasty became dominant. Modiji has ended them in the last 10 years and has established the trend of politics of demonstration.”
He said that Naxalism, terrorism and extremism are “counting their last breaths”.
The BJP’s chief strategist said the fight at the moment is between two ideologies – “one that wants to make the country a developed nation and the other that nurtures dynasty rule”.
He said, “(Opposition) India Bloc is an alliance of dynastic politics. Sonia Gandhi wants to make her son the Prime Minister.” He said NCP founder Sharad Pawar is keen on promoting his daughter, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee is keen on promoting her nephew and RJD supremo Lalu. Prasad Yadav his son, DMK chief MK Stalin his son.
He said, the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are important for the world’s largest democracy as about 100 crore people will exercise their franchise.
