Srinagar, May 17: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today confirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to address the real concerns of the people, saying that public service is not just an administrative responsibility, but a serious duty.
The Chief Minister said during a one-day public outreach program held for the second straight day at the Raibita office in Srinagar, “We are duties to solve all the real issues of our citizens with sympathy and urgency.”
He emphasized that the actual essence of the government lies in active hearing, meaningful engagement and timely redressal of complaints. He said, “Hearing, respect and acting with voices, respect and resolve from every corner of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Throughout the day, the Chief Minister met several public delegations and individuals who marked the demands for many issues and resolutions.
Residents of Government Housing Colony, Ompora, Budgam informed the Chief Minister of various civil issues under the jurisdiction of the Housing Board.
The delegation representing both factions of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation discussed the frequent challenges faced by the community of traders in the valley.
The J&K Private Emined Hospitals and Dialysis Centers Association highlighted important concerns about private sector healthcare infrastructure and policy assistance.
A deputation of the All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Federation demanded several long -term shop owners, urging timely intervention.
Chairman of the Industrial Development Center, Lasipora noted issues related to industrial estate at Lasipora, Pulwama, demanded policy and infrastructure support for industrial development.
A delegation of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) submitted its complaints related to the terms of service.
All J&K Panchayat Sectrives Association highlighted the issues around its career progress and service regularization.
The residents of Nishat, Srinagar brought local concerns for the Chief Minister’s notice, including land related matters and infrastructure infrastructure.
In addition, many individuals met the Chief Minister to discuss a wide range of main and community issues.
