PDP announces candidates for 3 seats, Mehbooba Mufti to fight Anantnag

Srinagar:

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday announced that the party will contest the Lok Sabha polls from Anantnag constituency while announcing its candidates for three seats in the valley.

PDP parliamentary committee chairman Sartaj Madni said the party’s youth wing chairman Waheed Parra will contest the election against Mir Fayaz, a former member of the House of Representatives from Srinagar and Baramulla.

The party announced its candidates at a press conference addressed by Ms Mufti and Mr Madni.

They said the People’s Democratic Party would support the Congress in the two Jammu district seats of Udhampur and Jammu.
