At least 29 people were killed in two Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Thursday while waiting for aid, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
Eight people were killed in an airstrike on an aid distribution center in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, Palestinian health officials said.
Later that day, Israel opened fire on a crowd waiting for aid trucks at a roundabout in northern Gaza, killing at least 21 people and wounding more than 150, the health ministry added.

Residents said Israeli aerial and ground bombardment continued throughout the night, covering the entire enclave, including Rafah in the south, where more than a million displaced people have taken refuge.
On February 29, 112 people were believed to have been killed and 760 injured when residents of Gaza City approached an aid truck in search of food, and the latest report on deaths in Gaza’s scramble for aid came just weeks later.
Witnesses said Israeli forces opened fire as the crowd swarmed around the truck as it tried to leave the area, killing and injuring more people.
The Israel Defense Forces denied the convoy was attacked. A spokesman said Israeli tanks fired warning shots to disperse the crowd surrounding the Gaza aid convoy after seeing people being trampled.

Efforts to reach a ceasefire between Israel and the Islamist militant group Hamas have so far failed.
The conflict has displaced much of Gaza’s 2.3 million people, with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell describing the lack of aid entering the territory as a “man-made” disaster.
Mr Borrell told the UN Security Council on Tuesday: “We are now faced with a group of people fighting for their survival… Hunger is being used as a weapon of war and when we condemn what is happening in Ukraine we must use the same words. What’s happening now.” is happening in Gaza. “
The United Nations has warned that at least 576,000 people in Gaza – a quarter of the population – are on the verge of famine, as global pressure mounts on Israel to allow more people in.
Israel denies blocking aid deliveries to Gaza, instead blaming delays on aid agency errors and accusing Hamas of diverting aid.
Hamas denies this and says Israel is using hunger as a weapon in its military offensive.
