Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered yet another defeat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season, losing at home to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Tuesday. RCB have now lost three of their four games and have only beaten PBKS Kings XI Punjab (PBKS) so far. Against LSG, RCB were bowled out for 153 in 19.4 overs while chasing 182 runs. Apart from Virat Kohli, no other batsman can contribute well for himself. Analyzing the defeat, former Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach Tom Moody highlighted RCB’s Achilles heel in the season so far.

Moody feels that the lack of clear roles among the batsmen has really hurt RCB, adding that the ‘chop-and-swap’ policy is a cause for concern.

“From a player’s perspective, there is talk of role clarity but RCB doesn’t seem to have any role clarity. They are still looking for the best combination. It’s like until they start winning a few games, they won.” Don’t. Decide on the batting order,” Moody said on ESPNcricinfo.
