Mr Shah also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship programme.

Bhopal:

Addressing a public rally in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah warned the Congress to “never dare to change Article 370”.

The home minister said the decision to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir was taken by the BJP workers and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Though it is impossible for the Congress to come to power again, if by chance it happens, I will warn the Congress not to dare to change Article 370. Kashmir is a part of India. Your (Congress Party’s) appeasement policy is over now,” Mr. Shah said.

Addressing a public rally in Mandhra, one of the five Lok Sabha seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes (STs) in Madhya Pradesh, the Home Minister said the BJP government has launched several schemes to uplift the country tribal status.

The Union Minister highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship schemes of the past decade, especially those for tribals. He said that Prime Minister Modi’s idea was to celebrate the birthday of tribal icon Birsa Munda with ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’.

“Madhya Pradesh celebrated the first Janjatiya Gaurav Divas (November 15, 2021). The BJP was the first to implement the PESA Act for tribals in Madhya Pradesh,” Mr. Shah added.
