A 36-year-old Nepali woman Aarti Hamal, the daughter of Nepal’s mayor, has gone missing in Goa, her father said on Sunday. The woman, a follower of Osho meditation who had been living in Goa for the past few months, was last seen on Monday night.
Aarti was last seen near Ashvem Bridge around 9:30 pm on Monday. She has been associated with the Osho Meditation Center for the past few months, Nepali newspaper The Himalayan Times reported.
Dhangadi deputy metropolitan mayor Gopal Hamal, who took to social media to plead for help in locating his eldest daughter, said Aarti’s friends informed the family about her disappearance.
“My elder daughter Aarti is an Osho meditator and has been living in Goa for a few months. However, I received a message from her friend that she has been dating Aarti Zorba Vi from yesterday. Bes Ashwem Breeze has lost contact. I kindly request you that people living in Goa can assist in the search for my daughter Aarti.
“Also, my younger daughter Arzoo and son-in-law will fly to Goa tonight to search for our elder daughter Aarti,” he added. He also shared the mobile numbers on social media. He wrote on
