Sweden became NATO’s 32nd member state on Thursday, and alliance troops participated in NATO’s “Steadfast Defender” exercise this week. The operation aims to promote compatibility and cooperation on the battlefield among member states and enhance the alliance’s ability to counter provocations by the Russian Federation.
