“My wife will undergo surgery today at Dr. Waryam Singh Hospital in Yamuna Nagar… She will undergo her second breast cancer surgery!” he wrote on X.

Last year, Sidhu wrote the post below while his wife was on her fifth chemotherapy treatment.

Recently, former Indian cricketer and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu echoed the sentiments of thousands of Rohit Sharma fans by asking the killer He did something wrong and was relieved of his duties as Mumbai captain. Rohit continues to lead the Indian national cricket team while Hardik captains the Indian cricket team.

“No one can digest the fact that India’s hero, India’s captain, is not the captain of our team. ‘What has he done wrong?’” That’s what the fans of the team will think,” Najot Sidhu said in ” Star Sports” said in the program.

“But what does he have to do? There is nothing like success. If he wins these two games, there won’t be any noise,” he further added.

There are also rumors that Hardik will be promoted as India captain (at least in the shortest format) and will lead the team in the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), confirmed that Rohit will continue to captain the Indian team in the exhibition matches starting in June this year.

Sidhu feels that if the BCCI had announced the news earlier, Mumbai Indians might not have decided to replace him with Hardik as team captain.

“If India had announced in early October that Rohit Sharma would return as India T20I captain in 2024, the team might not have accepted the call. Because they would have thought how could the India captain not be Captain of the team,” Najot Singh Sidhu said.

As it stands, Hardik is the captain of Mumbai Indians while Rohit continues to lead the Indian team in all three formats.
