He equaled Wasim Akram’s record (12) for hitting most sixes in an innings in Test cricket. Akram had also hit 12 sixes against Zimbabwe in 1996.

After Jaiswal equaled his record, Akram recalled his innings in the Sheikhupura Test, saying that it was not easy to bat on that track.
