Delhi Capitals posted a picture on social media of Shai Hope’s controversial catch to dismiss Sanju Samson during their IPL 2024 match on Tuesday. “Caught Shai,” DC posted on its Instagram handle along with the picture. The catch has sparked massive controversy with fans and experts divided on whether Hope was able to complete the catch without touching the boundary rope. Samson, who was batting on 86, hit a shot straight to Hope at long-on, but replays showed that there was a possibility that the fielder had come in contact with the boundary rope. The third umpire ruled in DC’s favor following which there was a heated argument between Samson and the on-field umpires.

Talking about the match, DC kept their IPL 2024 playoff dream alive with a win over RR.
