Munawar Faruqui takes a dig at Aditya Narayan amid the phone-throwing controversy. On Wednesday, the Bigg Boss 17 winner took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to put a twist on the song “Papa Kehte Hain” sung by Aditya’s father Udit Narayan. “Baba kehte hain, badnaam karega! Beta humare aise kaand karega,” the stand-up comedian wrote. He also added the hashtag “Aditya Narayan”.

Earlier this week, a shocking video from one of Aditya Narayan’s recent concerts went viral on social media. In the video, Aditya is seen performing in front of Aaj Ki Rath, played by Shah Rukh Khan as Don, when he loses his cool with his fans. He appeared to hit the fan with the microphone. He then snatched the fan’s phone, threw it into the crowd, and continued performing. After the incident, Aditya was called “arrogant”.

However, event organizers later broke their silence on the matter and stated that the fan was allegedly not a student. The organizer added that the man continued to irritate Aditya throughout the performance and eventually Aditya lost his cool.

“That kid was not a college student at all, he must be someone from outside the college. He kept dragging Aditya’s feet. He was very annoying. He tapped Aditya’s feet with his mobile phone many times. After that, he lost Calm down. He must have taken close to 200 selfies with this student. Other than that, the entire concert went smoothly. The show lasted nearly two hours after this incident. If the student was right, he would Come forward,” the event manager told Zoom. He then added that even Darshan Rawal refused to perform in college due to these incidents.
