Mrs. Weber: Find out what role Emma Roberts will play in the ‘Spider-Man’ spin-off movie

The Spider-Man spinoff has hit theaters to mixed reviews. This recently released Marvel movie stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb and stars Sidney Sweeney, Adam Scott, Celeste O’Connor, Isabella · Merced, Taha Rahim and Emma Roberts. The story takes place in a universe where Spider-Man has yet to appear, but the film hints at the iconic character, sparking speculation about cameos from the friendly neighborhood superhero in future installments. Meanwhile, Roberts’ role was initially kept secret, but Comicbook.com revealed she plays Mary Parker. Scott, meanwhile, plays Ben Parker, who works as a paramedic alongside Dakota’s Cassandra Webb.

The film shows Mary married to Ben, contrary to the comics and other Spider-Man adaptations, where Mary’s husband is Richard Parker. In the comic books, Mary and Richard are secret agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. who are tasked with fighting villains. In the next installment, Mrs. Webber may be involved in the tragic events leading up to Mary’s death, and Peter may be adopted by his aunt and uncle. One of the fun scenes in the movie is when the three Spider-Women assist Mary and Ben Parker on their way to the hospital to await the birth of their baby. However, Peter’s name remains a mystery throughout the film, leaving the audience in suspense.

Dakota Johnson said in an earlier interview with The Wrap: “There have been huge changes, I can’t even tell you what they are. It’s added a lot of different camera settings, it’s tripled the workload, it’s very Complex, there are only tiny differences between each version of the same scene, so it’s like putting together a puzzle and really focusing on where we are at the moment, what angle we’re at, and the continuity and so on. I’m definitely lost, director SJ Clarkson always knew where we were, which was incredible.”

Mrs. Webb tells the story of Cassandra Webb, played by Dakota Johnson, a paramedic in New York City who develops mysterious abilities. As the storyline progresses, Cassandra finds herself having to save three young women, Julia Cornwall, Mattie Franklin, and Anya Corazon, from a mysterious enemy bent on ending their lives.
