Following the launch of the Moto G04 and Moto G04s, Motorola seems to have launched yet another Moto G series smartphone. The Chinese smartphone company teased the arrival of the new phone via a social media post on Tuesday (April 9), but did not reveal its name or release date. The upcoming phone is speculated to be the Moto G64. It may succeed the Moto G54 5G, which was officially launched in India last year. Meanwhile, a tipster shared a render of the Moto G64 online. Additionally, the phone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website with scant specs.

Although the company is yet to confirm the name, speculation is rife that the Moto G64 5G could be revealed soon and come with a host of features from last year’s Moto G54 5G.
Meanwhile, tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared Purported images of the Moto G64 5G in blue and green colourways. It sports a punch-hole display design and slightly curved edges. The images reveal a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit with optical image stabilization.
In addition, the Moto G64 5G also features Appeared On the Geekbench website. The listing shows a single-core test score of 1,026 points and a multi-core CPU test score of 2,458 points. According to the listing, the phone may come with 12GB RAM and Android 14 operating system.
The listing also shows that the Moto G64 5G is equipped with an octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.50GHz. The chipset is believed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC.
The Moto G54 5G was launched in India in September last year with a starting price of Rs. 15,999. Earlier this year, the company had slashed the price of the phone by up to Rs. 3,000. It features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. It has a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery.
