Lahore:
A 12-year-old boy took his own life in Raiwind city after his mother refused to give him a mobile phone, ARY News reported citing police sources.
According to Lahore police, Ayan begged his mother to call him but she refused and went to a neighbor’s house.
When she returned, she found her son’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. The boy appeared to have ended his life using a rope tied to a bamboo pole on the wall, ARY News reported.
At the same time, the police have launched an investigation into the incident and are collecting evidence at the scene.
Prior to this tragic incident, another recent suicide case occurred in Mughalpura, Lahore. Bushra Suhail, a 33-year-old female doctor, reportedly committed suicide on March 27 after a fierce argument with her mother.
According to her sister Rabia, Bushra locked herself in the room after the argument and was later found hanging from the ceiling fan, ARY News reported.
