When Pakistan cricket star Mohammad Amir first arrived on the scene, he was regarded as one of the best fast bowling talents the country has ever produced. The left-arm fast bowler proved his talent enough and rose through the ranks in no time. However, an off-field incident brought his career to an abrupt end. In 2010, Amir was arrested for match-fixing and sentenced to a five-year ban for two intentional no-balls. He even spent three months in jail. Amir came back in 2015 and was selected for the national team the following year.
He retired from Test cricket in 2019 and from other forms of international cricket in 2020. However, Mohammad Amir continued to play in the Chartered Cricket League. However, the stain of the partial repair has not gone away from Amir. A video that recently went viral on social media shows people in Pakistan calling Aamir a “fixer”. The Quetta Gladiators star player ignored the call and came back saying: “Ghar se ye seehke aate ho (Did you learn these things at home)?”
This is a very bad culture and fans should respect the players especially a player like Aamir who has contributed so much to Pakistan…he is the pride of Pakistan pic.twitter.com/09CBJSz3AE

Mohammad Amir has taken six wickets in seven games so far in the Pakistan Super League.
Recently, Aamir alleged that the Multan deputy commissioner misbehaved with his family during a match and unfairly kicked them out of the stadium. Aamir made the accusation on social media and even asked Pakistan’s Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to take action against the official.
“Shocked by the unacceptable behavior of the deputy commissioner of Multan, who reportedly mistreated my family, arrogantly claimed ownership of the venue and unfairly evicted them during the tournament. This abuse of power is Intolerable! Urge authorities to take immediate action,” he wrote on the X.
A day later, Amir posted an update on the issue.
“I am extremely grateful to Chief Minister @MaryamNSharif for taking notice of my matter and taking the time to call me. Deputy Commissioner Multan personally clarified all the misunderstandings and I sincerely thank you and extend my best wishes.” On to your new journey,” he wrote.
