Modi’s famous quotes include:

  • I have no weapons but like to exercise authority over anyone.
  • I am loyal to no one but the truth, and I owe no one any discipline but the truth.
  • My greed for nonviolence is an extremely positive force that leaves no room for cowardice or even weakness. There is hope for violent people to become non-violent one day, but there is no hope for cowards.
  • There is enough in the world to satisfy man’s needs, but not his greed.
  • I don’t believe in the doctrine of the greatest good for the greatest number. The only true, dignified, human teaching is the greatest good.
  • If there is blood, let the blood be our own. Let us develop the quiet courage to die without killing.
