Jaipur:
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has worked to eliminate nepotism, corruption, appeasement and casteism and has established “politics of performance”.
He also targeted the Congress and the India faction, saying that they have no leader and no principles.
Addressing a gathering of intellectuals here, Mr Shah said, “Four wounds – nepotism, corruption, appeasement and casteism – had afflicted the country’s democracy. Within 10 years, Modi ji ended them and introduced politics of demonstration. Established.”
“The people of the India faction want to make only their sons, daughters and family members the Chief Minister. What good can such people do for the country?” He said.
Mr Shah said that the only objective of BJP under the leadership of PM Modi is to make India a world leader.
Taking a dig at the India Block, he said that the opposition neither has any principles nor any leader. Therefore, the people of the country have decided that NDA will cross 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.” Earlier, Shah addressed party workers in Udaipur and held a meeting with party leaders in Bikaner.
