Joslin Smith disappeared on 19 February 2024 in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape. Information about the girl’s disappearance has been trending since the day she disappeared. Sources also revealed that SAPS has not withdrawn from the search for the first-year student. The helicopter has been officially removed from the police’s overall search plan. Joslin Smith is a 6-year-old girl from Diazville, Saldanha, on the West Coast. She was last seen on Monday, February 19, 2024 at approximately 5:00 pm. She has been missing for over 12 days and there are still no official clues about her. She is a first-grade student at Diazville Elementary School. Police have officially confirmed that a missing persons report was opened at the local police station on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Seiler denounced Daly for running the missing Jocelyn Smith ballot. As of now, the missing girl has not been found. It is unclear where she is, but an investigation into her is ongoing.
