Srinagar, June 2, KDC: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is on his way to meet Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar – his first meeting after Article 370 in August 2019.
This is the first formal engagement between Mehboba and LG in about five years.
Party sources told news agency Kashmir.com that Mehboba has intended to raise several public issues related to Jammu and Kashmir.
Since the dismissal of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehboba has remained one of the most vocal critics of central government policies in Jammu and Kashmir. (KDC)
