External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Edel Alzubir in New Delhi on Thursday.
During the meeting with Edel Alzubir, Jaishankar shared India’s perspective on “combating terrorism”.
Jaishankar posted on X, “A good meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs @Adelaljubeir this morning shared India’s approach to combating terrorism.”
On Wednesday, Jaishankar discussed with the Foreign Ministers of Spain, France, Germany, Japan and Qatar. He emphasized India’s approach to cross -border terrorism and thanked his solidarity and support.
In response to a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, on the morning of May 7, the Indian armed forces launched a strike at terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan and captured Jammu and Kashmir under ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Yesterday, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh while addressing a press briefing on ‘Operation Sindoor’ said that a total of nine terrorist sites were targeted and successfully destroyed. He said that places were selected so that there is no loss to the citizens and their infrastructure.
“Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian Armed Forces to give justice to the Pahalgam terrorist attacks and the victims of their families. Nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed … The infrastructure of citizens was selected to avoid damage and to avoid loss of any civil life,” Winger Viomika Singh said.
During the same briefing, Colonel Sophia Qureshi presented videos of the destruction of terrorist camps, including Muridake, where criminals of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, David Hedley and Ajmal Kasab received training.
Apart from Muridke, Sarjal Camp in Sialkot, Markz Ahle Hadith, Barnala and Markz Abbas, Kotli and Mehmoon Zoya Camp, Sialkot were targeted in attacks carried out by the Indian Army, Colonel Qureshi informed.
Strike, held between 1:05 pm and 1:30 pm on Wednesday, was a coordinated attempt by the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, targeting nine terrorist camps in Pakistan on the basis of reliable intelligence. (AI)
